Although a cure has not been found for acne, there a plenty of acne treatments out there. But which one should you use? Below i have compiled a list of the Top 10 Acne Products and Treatments EVER!

Freederm Gel 25g

Freederm is a cooling, translucent, fragrance-free topical gel containing nicotinamide 4%w/w - a proven anti-inflammatory treatment for inflamed acne, pimples and spots in all age groups.

Freederm is especially useful for tackling the redness and tenderness of acne spots and is, in fact, the only over the counter gel specifically targeted at acne inflammation. The active ingredient nicotinamide works from inside existing spots to overcome redness and tenderness and also targets spots just starting to appear.

Panoxyl 10 Acnegel 40g
Panoxyl Acnegel 10 - An effective treatment for mild to moderate acne.

Alcohol gel containing: 10% Benzoyl peroxide.

Treatment of acne vulgaris.

For adolescents and adults.

40g aluminium, foil sealed tube.

Panoxyl Acnegel 10 is the highest strength gel available in the Acnegel range, containing 10% of the active ingredient. Panoxyl Acnegel is safe to use daily and results should start to appear within 2 weeks. It does not contain overpowering perfume smells or medicated smells. The active ingredient Benzoyl peroxide acts as an antibacterial and a peeling agent, leaving the skin less greasy.

Important Information! Avoid contact with eyes and delicate areas.
Panoxyl sometimes stings and tingles the skin, with the feeling of a warm sensation. This reaction is normal, particularly on the first use. Also, to begin with, you may notice the skin flaking slightly. Again, this is normal and may continue for a few weeks until your skin has gotten used to the active ingredient in the gel. If you find these affects a nuisance then lessen the amount of times you use this product.



Panoxyl Wash 10 - 150ml

  • Creamy lotion containing: Benzoyl peroxide 10% w/w.
  • Treatment of acne vulgaris.
  • Can be used once a day.
  • For adolescents and adults.
  • 150ml flip-top bottle.

Panoxyl Wash can be used to efficiently treat and reduce the severity acne. The lotion is of a creamy consistency, does not contain perfumes and does not have an over powering, medicated smell. Panoxyl is safe to use daily and results should start to appear within 2 weeks.

Panoxyl Wash may occasionally cause slight stinging, tingling and warmness. This side effect is normal with the first application. Also, initially you may notice that skin might flake slightly. This is also a perfectly normal reaction and may be expected for the first 2-3 weeks of use. This is due to the active ingredient getting to work. Within 2 weeks, skin will learn to tolerate the formulation and these affects should cease. If you experience this and it becomes a nuisance to you, go easy on using Panoxyl Wash and only use every few days instead.

Quinoderm Cream 50g

Panoxyl Aquagel 2.5 is the lowest strength gel available in the Aquagel range, containing 2.5% of the active ingredient. Ideally you would use Aquagel if you are sensitive to alcohol based products (such as the Acnegel). Panoxyl Aquagel is safe to use daily and results should start to appear within 2 weeks. It does not contain overpowering perfume smells or medicated smells. The active ingredient Benzoyl peroxide acts as an antibacterial and a peeling agent, leaving the skin less greasy.
