  • Your doctor or dermatologist may also prescribe you some oral Isotretinion, this is specifically for acne which reoccurs.
  • Apply topical gels, solutions, creams and lotions. Many of these can be bought from your local chemists. We call these treatments "Over the counter" treatments or OTC for short.
  • Apply "Anti-acne" products, many of these products come in cream form. You should aim to apply it twice a day and you SHOULD NOT worry if your skin becomes dry and starts flaking. This is a sign its work, and will soon go once your skin gets used to it, usually 2 to 4 weeks.
