How to get rid of pesky 

blackheads

 

Method 1 

 

  1. Steam your face over a bowl of hot water for 5-10 minutes, this will open up your pores and soften the blackheads in preparation for squeezing them out. 
  2. Wrap some tissue around your fingers and GENTLY squeeze the area just around the blackhead, try and get under the blackhead to push it out. 
  3. Once the blackhead has been squeezed out, wash your face with cold water, this is to close up the pore. 
  4. To finish off, apply some tea tree cream which is available from most chemists. 

 

Method 2 

 

1.      Buy some Blackhead Removal Strips, these are like sticky bits of tape.  

2.      Follow the instructions on the back on the pack carefully, but they usually go something like this; 

a.       Wash and clean your face 

b.      Thoroughly wet your nose with water 

c.       Place the strip on your nose 

d.      Leave on for 10 minutes 

e.       GENTLY and SLOWLY remove the strip 

3.      This is a bit of a hit and miss method, it works for some, but doesn’t for others, it will remove the surface layer of blackheads very successfully.  

 

Method 3 

 

  1. Find any biro and take out the inner tube 
  2. Wash and disinfect the inner tube thoroughly 
  3. Place over a blackhead, pushing down and twisting as you do so, until the blackhead squeezes out 
  4. This is the most effective method in a lot of people’s eyes, but is short term and has a risk of scarring 

 

Method 4 

 

  1. Use a low potency benzoyl peroxide exfoliating cream that will remove dead skin cells 
  2. This method can remove most blackheads, even the stubborn ones 
  3. While at the same time, it is quite mild to your skin. 

 

Method 5 

 

  1. Buy a metallic device, often called a “Double-ended blackhead remover”, available from most beauty shops and chemists 
  2. Using this tool you can individually plug out each individual blackhead 
  3. But it must be done with a lot of care as there is a risk of scarring 

Natural Home Remedy Blackhead Removal Treatments

 

Method 1

  1. To prevent further blackheads, use this mixture.
  2. Mix approx. 1 teaspoonful of groundnut oil with 1 teaspoonfull of lime juice
  3. Apply to your face.

Method 2

  1. For this method you will need to mix these ingredients;
    1. 1 cup of hot water
    2. 1 teaspoonful of espom salt
    3. 4 drops of iodine
  2. Mix this all well together
  3. Apply to the blackhead affected areas using cotton wool, and once dry, wipe off with a clean cloth.
  4. These method has recieved good results from many.

Method 3

  1. For this method you will need to mix these ingredients;
    1. Fresh lime juice
    2. Grounded drumbstick pods
    3. Leaves
  2. Apply this to blackhead affected areas

Method 4

  1. Make a paste of fresh methi leaves, otherwise known as fenugreek.
  2. Apply this to your face EVERY night, for 10 - 15 minutes.
  3. Wash the paste off with warm water.
  4. Proven to remove and prevent blackheads.

Method 5

  1. Blackhead removal facewash.
  2. Mix fresh lime juice with boiled milk - doesn't matter from which animal.
  3. Apply to your face.

 

Method 6

  1. Mix red sandalwood with tumeric made from milk
  2. This will form a paste.
  3. Apply this paste to blackhead affects areas.
  4. This home remedy in particular has recieved very good results from many.

Method 7

  1. Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a bowl.
  2. Apply this paste onto blackhead affected areas and leave it on overnight.
  3. Wash this paste off in the morning with warm water.
  4. Repeat this for 2 weeks.

Method 8

  1. Mix mint juice with turmeric powder
  2. Apply on blackhead affected areas.
  3. Leave on for 25 minutes and then wash off with warm water.

Method 9

  1. Apply a solution of undiluted lemon juice to blackhead affected areas
  2. Aim to do this 2 or 3 times a day

Method 10

  1. Make a mixture by taking a pinch of soft portion of glycerin soap and a pinch of table salt
  2. Apply this to blackhead affected areas
