Drinking water and how it can help treat acne

Imagine this, a balloon filled with water, firm to touch. But poke a hole in it with a needle and let some of that water out, and the balloon skin with be soft and shrink. The same counts for a skin cell in your body, if you deprive the cell of water, the structure and sometimes the function will diminish. Through our skin, breathing out, via our kidneys and gut - we lose about 1.5 liters of water every day, that water needs to be replenished or we will become dehydrated.

Drinking water is essential for clean skin and your overall health. Water is essential for carrying waste material out of your body... and is quite possibly the single most important contributor to healing and preventing acne flare-ups.


The reccommended intake of water per day is 8-10 glasses.


Did you know that almost 70% of your body is made up of water? Without water your body would shut down and fail, it is effectively your lifeforece. Water is involved in many body processes, such as;

Water is also used to transport nutrients around your body and most importantly to you, flush out toxins in your body. If you do not have a adequate supply of water, the toxins will build up and cause a outbreak of acne. Without water, our bodies would poison ourselves with metabolic wastes. Now i bet your thinking;
